IT IS ALL RELATIVE

We are living in Uncertain Stormy Times.A King that rules with Imperial Arrogance and pawns on the board that sometimes seem less than willing to Brave Fierce Storms. It is up to all of us to take care of the Serfs of this Kingdome. That means educating ourselves and advocating for the needs of all. Here at the Enigma Cafe, We The People is proudly carved into the counter. So Here are some blogs that you need to wander and wonder, they will make you think and grow. I also had to repair my blogroll this week you will notice that you are sitting at the Counter with new Friends. You might not know this, but Albert spent alot of his learning years meandering through coffee houses, he viewed them as part of his education. Have some Coffee, share a scone.

{{{If you are new to the Enigma Cafe of Watergate Summer, Please also the Post down on the page Called SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER....it is a piece that will speak to you heart in these Troubled Times }}}

Einstein witnessed the Purges of Europe and even became part of the Exiled Community of Writers, Scientists, Activists, Lawyers that had to leave the 1930s' Germany. It left him hungering for Peace and Justice. It also left him a man of the World, and a man without a country. It was a World that he embraced with protective wisdom.

Aloha Enigma... Great post. I was kind of bummed that I didn't make the blogroll and neither did the new JuneRevolution site.

By the way... You should go check out the first videocast from both

June Revolution and Get In Their Face!

the regular readers comment heavily on this blog, nate, and some even have the temerity to follow the links in the comments and on the blogroll...you are being heard...all things will happen as they will...

Thanks some.. I know. I should have clarified my comment more. I love this blog. Just found it Saturday from the awesome brainstorm Enigma started over at Crooks & Liars. That brainstorm was what led me to spend the entire day building the blog, buying the web address and producing the videocast for it.

I'm excited I found a great new blog to read.

Thank you so much for including Morning Martini in your list. I truly am honored to be among so many great blogs. When the swelling goes down I think my head will be okay. :)

I view my visits to sites as visits to friends' homes. I pop over, read what's on their mind, and if I want to respond I leave a comment. While in the comment area I see other perhaps new friends so I pop over to their place and see what's up there. It's like a giant circle of freinds. I love it!

I love Einstein. He spoke out on so many things. He was a lover of great music, a pacificist, a buddhist (not avowed, but you can sense it in some of his writings) and a real sensualist in many ways. It's amazing. It's just something one doesn't expect from "science guys" you know?

PS ... Although, the science guy comes out in that he preferred Mozart over Beethoven ... Einstein didn't like, I believe, that Beethoven gave in to his emotions so much and lacked the structural genius that was one of Mozart's greatest gifts ... ONE, of many, of course.

ANITA: Thanks for remembering Albert, he was a good man, with some very interesting and important philosophies. I have no idea what music he preferred. The thing that is interesting about him is that he was ProPeace and a follower of Gandi. He was a Genius with a soul.( I will be posting more on him this week.)

POET: Keep your poetry flowing.

PISSED OFF PATRICIA: I am indeed hoping that the Circle keeps building.Love your blog.

LOC: Thanks for idea. I think I will keep arranging the "Counter" (the blogroll, I have fun with it). But I will keep the Manager in my mind. ( Blogger was the one that shredded it last week, but it is all fixed now).

NATE: there is always next week, okay? You were still building your site, was trying to give you time to finish. And we are glad that you have stumbled over from C&L to the Enigma Cafe. ( my blogroll is the cofffee counter, many good souls at that counter).

MIANE FRIEND: Thanks for helping out and pouring some coffee there....and I think we are building a good circle here, thanks for all of your help.

ENIGMA CAFE:
I am putting new posts up later today hopefully. During the Day I am tied up this week, so if you come by leave a messege and look out for each other...share the bagels. We are having more visitors from some larger sites and lets help them feel at home.We have some important issues to talk with each other these next few weeks, monthes.

(if Trolls come by ignore them I will sweep when I get in-Promise- but don't feed them)

Food for Thought: Watch the Feingold Video over at Crooks&Liars, and go to RUSS websites at the top of the Blogroll. Give this man our support he is trying to take a stand. He remembers that we have a Consitution. We need to plan How to take Back OUR COUNTRY.

STILL LUCKY: I saw your FEINGOLD post and also your messege....Today Tuesday 3/14/06 I will be in and out but am working on New Post about these very issues. thanks. You are Heard. And I hope that Everyone has signed Russ's Petition and gone to his website , he is showing Great Courage.

NATE: Saw your blog- it looks good, it is a place to start the Dialogue, and talk to each other about WHAT Needs to Happen in Our Country. I have left messeges for you there and offline ( as well as C&L). The Dialogue has Begun on Many Blogs, not just Crooks & Liars. There is Much Energy and Heart that needs to be nurtured.... The Important Thing is to remember that this Country is in Trouble and Somehow Honoring what has been lost , lives and Honor and Integrity. And Recognizing that People are want their Country Back...All Countries that faced Struggle, even Upheaval faced these challenges, that is why What Gandi, Mandela, and Martin Luther King have taught us is So Critical at this Juncture. Please read the piece below SPEAKING TRUTH TO POWER ( it had 1000's of Hits, that says to me People are looking for a Path.) Thank you for your hard work, and please know that 1000's are trying to figure out WHAT to do right now. We need to work together. United we stand , Divided we Fall. I have great Faith and Hope and Courage that the Most Meaningful Plan wll Come Forward.

Einstein is known as a scientist, but he was also a wonderful writer.

"How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people -- first of all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness is wholly dependent, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose destinies we are bound by the ties of sympathy. A hundred times every day I remind myself that my inner and outer life are based on the labors of other men, living and dead, and that I must exert myself in order to give in the same measure as I have received and am still receiving..."-Einstein

Einstein was quite the man. I like his quote about world wars. It was something like i don't know what weapons they will fight WWIII with, but I know they will fight the next war with sticks and stones. he was also a socialist and got into some trouble for knocking capitalism.

Enigma,

What a great blog. I saw your comment you left over at my necromerica blog and came here to check it out. Very interesting.

I also saw your reference to my blog in the above post. I can't thank you enough for mentioning it.

The link on the side goes to a different blog site though (necromania as opposed to necromerica).

Anyway, thanks again. And without a doubt, your blog will be one of my regular visits.
