WE THE PEOPLE ARE INVITING OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS AND ALL THE MEDIA TO COME TO WASHINGTON TO MARCH FOR PEACE AND TO BRING OUR TROOPS HOME NOW

We all have been recieving Different Messeges from Many Democrat Grassroot Groups, but the messege that is being sent says "March and Lobby for Peace " in DC on January 27th. I personally find that slogan nauseating and deeply disturbing. The LAST word I want to Hear that will or would save Our floundering Democracy is "Lobby". And the Approach is ALL Wrong. WE THE PEOPLE should not have to lobby Anyone. This is OUR Government and OUR Elected officials, they should be Listening to us, they should be Joining WE THE PEOPLE. So I am imploring you Write and Call OUR ELECTED, ALL of them, REPUG and DEMS , and ask Them to JOIN WE THE PEOPLE IN DC January 27th......MARCH FOR PEACH, LET'S TAKE BACK OUR GOVERNMENT FOR WE THE PEOPLE.

*Please also forward to ALL Media, we NEED Freedom of Speech again as well. And they need to cover this Peace March.*

CM: and yes, they were "serious".....I was more than disappointed in the "comment"...after all we all know that when you have a Blog- you are doing the Job of protecting the prescious Right of Freedom of Speech ( said person also does not have a Blog)....so I let him know that he really doesn't realize what is at stake in this Country...( I have had Troll problems off and on, and recently really creepy letters from someone named Medusa...) But see I get rid of the Trolls quickly- cuz they bother my Cafe friends too...but anyways This Person said ( mistakenly so) that since my Blog covers Controversial Issues I should expect "trouble".... So I had to set him straight...but you know I think there are some people in this Country who just don't get it...at all.....Our Country is in Trouble...There is nothing controversial about Blogging about VETS, and Death, and an Imperial Delusional Leader who misuses Power and shits on our Constitution.....it is Patriotic to Blog....Thomas Jefferson would have been a Blogger...Thomas Paine- absolutely, Paul Revere- you bethca, Ben Franklin- yup....okay I will hush....I am getting carried away.....

I was figuring you were close by.

Isn't it amazing that our so called "democracy" that these fruitcakes talk about spreading doesn't even work here anymore ; (

That you can't have a difference of opinion with these people is simply amazing! ; (

We are getting our first snow of the winter finally ; )

I'd been planning to go, and now I find that it's not going to happen. I'm very disappointed, but I will take you up on the letter writing. We've got a newly elected Democratic Congressman in our district, and I think it's time to fire off some e-mails.

Hi Enigma ..... thanks for taking a stand on FREE SPEECH !

The Founding Fathers you cited and Thomas Paine in particular would definitely all be Bloggers today.

In a response to a Comment posted on my site recently The Cosmic Message I said I wasn't too optimistic about Congress's desire to uphold the Constitution though.

"Even the new Democrats have embraced the ostensible gestures practiced by the Bushies by proposing to introduce non-binding resolutions criticizing the "Surge" policy.

What a let down for the American people and a monumental betrayal of the Constitution akin to the actions of the Executive cronies.

The only way to stop the troop esculation is by passing legislation which makes it a crime for the President to send more soldiers or request funding without Congressional approval. If Bush chooses to violate this, he will have commited an impeachable offense and should be held accountable for his actions.

Non-binding resolutions are like paper protests without consequences and an insult to all Americans. They're the product of the gutless wonders now waundering the hallways of our nation's capitol who're to scared to stand up and be counted at a time when our citizens need their representation most."

I believe a March on Washington might cause our Legislators to pass more stringent measures though which make it illegal for Bush to act w/o Congressional approval.

Just remember to wear your steel toed boots if you go in case you have to add some reinforcement to your message, Enigma. :)

Peace,
Cosmic

Cosmic: Wow...you absolutely just said Everything that has been on my mind for monthes. Our Government and our Journalists have been dancing to the Music of Criminals and basically ignoring or trampling Our Constitution....and I do often think that they are not mindful or History and Our Founding Fathers Hopes and Dreams....the sad thing is Our Founding Fathers Fought For OUR Rights.....None of this was supposed to happen.....I don't know if I will get to DC, because I am in the Middle of Moving, and the Mighty Dollar will set my plans- but in the meantime I am committed to getting as many people as possible there, and that includes our Elected Officials and Media...Lives Depend on it...Our Constitution Depends on it...We The People is not just words on paper.....Thank You Cosmic for hearing what was in my heart....
