I so trying to keep focued on the good news -- the awesome crowds, the hope.

But I admit I have a pit in my stomach - the Republicans will do anything, voting machines in one state with early voting have been reported "flipping" votes so that everyone who voted for Obama actually was flipped to McCain. I truly hope this is resolved quickly and the machines should be purged and start over.

McCain's folks are also talking about pulling out the stops and broadcastnig stuff about Rev. Wright *sigh*

I truly hope they don't.

I don't understand why the information we have about Palin isn't more in the news. And some of the stuff on McCain too.

Oh well - not too much longer. I am holding on tight to the dream and volunteering as much as I can to make it happen.

Lady Rose..
that is ALL we can do right now...I know it is frustating....McCain is running the Dirtiest Campaign EVER...period...
( I am not sure what state you are in- but here in Ohio the ads by Mclame are unreal...and every hour..I have given up watching regular tv..)

There is plenty about Palin that should be in the News....from her AIP Secession Party Attendance - the video from her June 2008 Speech has been pulled off Youtube....to McCain's Lobyist corrupt crony staff.....And even Teddy Stevens on Trial- WHO she ran a Nonprofit for....

Hang in there lady....have faith keep looking at the photos of the weekend- thousands showed up...remember these people are US..they too are fighting for change....cuz you know they will vote....
NO ONE stands in that kind of line and does not vote....they do...

I agree with YOU, Nurse! Palin won't release ANY of her medical records? WTF? That's just plain wrong. She's running for the heartbeat-from-the-president office. She won't give press conferences, she won't do unscripted interviews, and now she won't release medical records? This alone, regardless of McCain's FOUR melanomas (that we know about, one of which may be a metastasis which should've been classified as Stage III, not II), should invalidate their ticket. Reagan wasn't ashamed to talk about his colon polyps. Biden tells details of his aneurysms & enlarged prostate. Obama's doctor talks about how tough it is to quit smoking. Even Cindy McC finally released her 1040's for 2006/2007 (which she fought as long as possible). What are we supposed to think? That maybe Sarah has been on, shudder, BIRTH CONTROL?!?! Oh the horror, the shock, to her extreme religulous crowd. Transparency, my ass.

I truly believe she won't release her records because it will come out that she didn't give birth this past March.

Beautiful tree/sky, Enigma, I'm sure the photo couldn't even do it justice.

IDA::
ohhhh I love your logo and your site...yeah...transparency my ass- you are so right...McCain could easily have brain mets right now...and from some of his erratic behavior and blunders and poor judgement and irritability....he could indeed have mets....

DK::
there is nothing transpaparent about Palin- she is full of moosecrap...and yeah- the reason the records can not be released- some doctor probally won't sign off on them...or her BS preggers story...
It is a critical issue...is either McCain or Palin fit to lead...no..and the public should be told the truth...

Check out fivethirtyeight.com for projections.

I see the McCain campaign is about to haul out Rev. Wright for another round, feigning outrage at Lewis's comments on the racist atmosphere of McCain-Palin rallies.

Can't wait for this to be over. I'm going nuts here.

enigma4ever said...

Lulu - I love that site I go there every day...I hear you about the nuts...oye...what a year...or is it 2 years now....Hang in there...we will prevail and survive this ...in spite of McCain and his dumbass Shenanigans...

LULU-
I added the map..you are right we needed to see that....

AS for machines flipping votes.... I think they should be fixed- with a sledgehammer.
If they are not reliable we NEED to get rid of them.

As for Tina Fey "hurting Palin" HA!!!!! Funny thing is the 2nd skit, Tina Fey used Palin actual answers to the Couric interview VERBATIM! Palin is so fircking out there, they don;t even need to make stuff up, just repeat what she said & she has the audiences roaring.

The winking beauty queen airhead is her own worst enemy.

Add the hate filled stuff shrouded under the guise of patriotism... You have got to be kidding.

Pretty tree ~ nice poll stats.

Hey Fran..
no kidding those Couric Interviews were hysterical- before Tina even used them....omg...and now her SO Patriotic theme...what a joke..Small Town America is SO American ????so what is Downtown Cleveland, Detroit, Baltimore ?????chopped liver ??? absurd...

Mr. Obama's grandmother is very ill. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts/prayers/good vibes. click here

Quote: "WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is canceling nearly all his campaign events Thursday and Friday to fly to Hawaii to visit his suddenly gravely ill 85-year-old grandmother, his communications director said.

Robert Gibbs told reporters aboard Obama's plane that Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Payne Dunham, who helped raise him, was released from the hospital late last week. But he said her health had deteriorated "to the point where her situation is very serious."
