West Virginia State Rep. drinks Coal Slurry....yes , he did.....Hmmm, wonder if he has Poison Control on Speed Dial ?

oh what a lovely cocktail...hmm, fresh heavy metals, yum....the bigger question is WHAT is in the water that is anywhere near coal processing and is it safe....???

Hmmm, sounds like he was trying to make a point, by putting similar bottles under his colleagues' chairs and inviting them to drink the same stuff that they're allowing to get into their constituents' water. I think he was saying if you're unwilling to drink this, why are you willing to feed it to them?

I read about it at ThinkProgress and it said it was safe.. I can't remember exactly what it said now.. but it was all set up. But still he was willing to put his money where his mouth was and none of the others were.

It sets a tone and creates a message that people will remember and shows he cares. Thats the important thing. I think it is great.

Yah, from the article I got the impression this was just a stunt to make a point. I suppose you could just put a few drops of cola in a bottle of water and then assure everyone it's perfectly safe and see if they'll drink it. Maybe add a little Perrier to make it taste bitter and salty.

I will have to rewrite my post- I was not sure what his point was...but I think he was trying to say it was a mystery...but I was worried he was implying it was safe.....( sleep deprived....oye)

any water that is near coal processing....well- it's doomed...bound to be full of heavy metals....
